Imagine America Foundation awards scholarships to students across the country, and they needed both a strong public-facing website and a full platform behind it to actually run the scholarship programs. On the marketing side, we built their main site with Astro and paired it with a custom CMS that feeds the blog, the schools directory and a set of SEO-focused pages. We also handled the ongoing SEO work to help the site rank for the searches that matter most to their mission. Behind the public site, there is a full .NET and Angular portal where students apply for scholarships and track their applications. College administrators and high school counselors each get their own accounts to review student submissions, make recommendations, approve or deny applications and download certificates. The portal also has a lot of automation built in, moving applications through the review process, sending email updates and reminders at the right time, and keeping data in sync with partner companies.
